To increase the number of people who are healthy and avoid risky behavior by one- third. We want to educate people about healthy choices.
To educate American families how to achieve financial ability. Through our United Way Community Partners we can help serve people with their financial stability.
Creating long-lasting changes by addressing underlying areas such as education, health and financial stability problems. Working together to make our communities stronger.
It takes money to resolve these problems. It also takes focus, creativeness, and willing hearts to get results. we bring diverse people and resources together to address the issues cared about the most: Education, Financial Stability, and Health. All donations are distributed locally to fund programs and services in Scott, New Madrid, Mississippi, Stoddard, and Butler Counties in Missouri.
The Sikeston/Bootheel United Way has 20 community Partners .These nonprofit health or human service organizations have met the eligibility criteria to receive partial funding from funds raised during the annual campaign,

The campaign starts every year on October 1. You can donate by mail, online,( paypal or venmo) or drop by the office. Donations can be check, cash or credit card. Your workplace can have payroll deduction also. You can also donate office supplies or even donate your time . Help honor someone or in memory of someone by donating. You can donate year around to our campaign. We appreciate any kind and any amount of a donation.
One of our main fundraisers is our yearly golf tournament at Fox Haven Country Club in Sikeston, Missouri. We have sponsors and entry fees that help our campaign.
Advancing the common good is less about helping one person at a time and more about changing the systems to help all of us. Living united means being a part of the change . Volunteering is a part of donating.

The Sikeston/Bootheel Area United Way grant application process is available to any health and human service non-profit organization serving Scott, New Madrid, Mississippi, Stoddard, and Butler counties in Missouri.
